Able Gardener aims to work with a select group of charities, promoting their work on our website and raising funds through various methods.
The “Charity of the Month” facility allows our customers to easily donate to our nominated charity when ordering online with Able Gardener. Simply add the amount you wish to donate in the box provided and click “Donate”. This amount will be added to your “Barrow” automatically.
At the end of every month we will forward these donations to our nominated charity.
Current Charity of the Month Against Breast Cancer
Against Breast Cancer is delighted to be Able Gardener’s Charity of the Month. Throughout the month your support will enable Against Breast Cancer to continue its vital research work into the secondary spread of breast cancer, the main cause of death. The UK has amongst the highest levels of death from breast cancer in the world, we want to change that. Our aim is to develop a vaccine ‘against breast cancer’ which will be given to young girls before puberty. Another aspect of our work is the Diet & Lifestyle study, the largest of its type in the world, which is running in 40+ hospitals throughout the UK.
Buying any of our endorsed products or adding a donation to your barrow will help us fulfil our dream of a ‘future free of breast cancer’. We hope you share our dream.
In future months, we intend to work with other charities to help promote their causes and raise funds.
